Who we are

Harpoon Hobby Co. is a small Massachusetts trading-card business. We sell sports and Pokémon cards through our eBay store, harpoonhobbyco.

How we use the eBay developer API

We use the eBay developer API only as an internal seller tool for our own eBay store (harpoonhobbyco): creating and managing our listings, setting prices, and managing our orders. The tool is not offered to or used for any other eBay user.

Buyer data

We do not store buyer personal data. Order details are read only to pack and ship purchases and are not kept afterward. We never sell, share, or publish eBay user data.

eBay account deletion notifications

We subscribe to eBay’s Marketplace Account Deletion notifications. Each notification is acknowledged, and no data from it is retained, because we hold no eBay user data to delete.

This website

harpoonhobbyco.com has no user accounts or sign-ups, and we do not collect personal information through it. Like any website, our hosting provider may process standard request logs (such as IP address and browser) for security. Purchases are handled by eBay under its own policies.

The Harpoon Report Publisher (TikTok)

The Harpoon Report Publisher is the tool that publishes The Harpoon Report’s own news videos to its social accounts. When the account owner connects a TikTok account with TikTok Login Kit, we receive that account’s open ID, display name, username and access tokens for the scopes the owner approves (user.info.basic, user.info.profile, video.publish). We use them only to publish our own videos to that account and to confirm the right account is connected.

Tokens are stored only on the publisher’s own computer in an access-restricted file. They are never sold, shared or used for advertising.

Disconnect any time in TikTok (Settings and privacy > Security > Manage app permissions). Tokens are deleted from our computer on request or when the connection is revoked. To request deletion of any data, contact us as described below.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13.
